What If Quantum Mechanics Has Been Measuring Consciousness All Along?

On December 22, 2025, I published Cognitive Field Dynamics: A Unified Theory of Consciousness, Expectation, and Experiential Geometry — a framework I've been developing that proposes consciousness is not produced by physical processes, but organizes them.
One day later, I completed the mapping.
The paper I'm sharing today — Cognitive Field Dynamics: Extension I — The Quantum Mechanics Correspondence — traces a complete formal correspondence between quantum mechanical phenomena and the expectation field dynamics I've been describing.
The core finding: Quantum mechanics and Cognitive Field Dynamics describe the same reality from different vantage points.
Quantum mechanics measures from the outside. CFD describes from the inside. They're the same phenomenon.
What does that mean?
It means the wave function isn't describing a physical object. It's describing uncommitted expectation — the state before direction has weighted which possibility becomes actual.
It means wave function collapse isn't a mystery requiring an external observer. Collapse is what direction does. Expectation-structure is the collapse mechanism.
It means entanglement isn't "spooky action at a distance." Entangled particles were never separate in expectation-space. Space is downstream of expectation.
It means the measurement problem — the central puzzle of quantum foundations for a century — dissolves. It was asking the wrong question. It assumed consciousness was downstream of physics, then asked how physics could depend on consciousness. Once you recognize expectation-structure as upstream, the paradox vanishes.
What's in the paper:
Complete mapping of 20+ quantum phenomena to CFD structures
Analysis of five major quantum interpretations (Copenhagen, Many-Worlds, QBism, Relational QM, Bohmian Mechanics)
Cosmological implications: novel interpretations of dark matter, dark energy, the arrow of time, the cosmological constant problem, and black hole information
A research program for mathematical formalization and empirical testing
The claim is large.
I know that. I'm saying physics has been inadvertently measuring the mechanics of how consciousness produces shared reality — and didn't know it because the assumption was that consciousness comes after physics, not before.
I'm not asking anyone to believe it. I'm asking people to engage with it. The framework makes predictions. It can be tested. It can be falsified.
The papers are published. The DOIs are assigned. The cryptographic hashes are computed.
The priority is established.
Now the work begins.
