"Why should I trust your instrument over the CEO's own account of themselves?"

Because the executive cannot accurately describe their own condition under the kind of load that would make the description matter.

The system that maintains their operating performance is the same system that blocks the accurate signal. The harder they work to hold it together, the less reliable their self-report becomes.

That is not an opinion. It is what five independent scientific fields confirmed — without knowing this practice exists.

What this means for a PE firm, an attorney, a board, or a family office carrying key person risk:

You are making investment decisions, governance decisions, and liability decisions based on information the executive structurally cannot provide. The gap between what they report and what is actually happening is not a communication problem. It is a measurement problem. It requires an independent instrument — the same way a structural assessment of a building requires instruments, not the building's opinion of itself.

The mathematics governing the instrument was put through independent testing designed to break it — across five scientific fields with no connection to leadership assessment. Cell biology. Condensed matter physics. Neuroscience. Ecology. Political science.

28 specific claims tested. 21 independently confirmed. Zero fully falsified.

Five corporate failures — Enron, Lehman Brothers, WorldCom, FTX, Theranos — matched the same structural failure pattern. Same phases. Same order. Five industries. Five decades.

The mathematical foundation is not new. It has been independently peer-reviewed for decades across multiple disciplines. It governs how systems organize under load, how they hold, and how they break when they can no longer hold. No one had applied it to the person the capital depends on. Until now.

Two papers. Fourteen specific predictions designed to fail if the mathematics is wrong. Full documentation available to clients and referral partners under engagement.

The instrument reads what the executive cannot report. That is the answer.
